Venue 8 Will Not Turn On
Venue 8 screen won't light up, device won't boot up
Bad Power Supply
Ensure that the Venue 8 Tablet’s battery is not dead, and can hold a charge. Attempt to charge your device and try to turn it on after a few moments of charging. If the device wont turn on due to a bad power supply, you may need to replace the battery.
Bad Power Button
If Venue 8 wont respond to the power button, there may be a connection problem between the power button and the mother board. If this is the issue, you may use this guide to replace it.

Venue 8 Audio isn’t Working
Sound is distorted or isn’t working at all
Speakers have sustained damage
When sounds are distorted (popping, scratching, muffled, etc.) or have stopped working, the speaker in the tablet may have become damaged and is unable to work. If you hear any of these distortions the speaker may be damaged or broken. Use “this” guide to replace the speaker in the Dell Venue 8.

Venue 8 won't respond to charger
Bad Power Supply
Ensure that the Venue 8 Tablet’s battery is not dead, and can hold a charge. Attempt to charge your device and try to turn it on after a few moments of charging. If the device wont turn on due to a bad power supply, you may need to replace the battery.
Venue 8 is Not Plugged In
Ensure that the device is plugged into the electrical outlet or USB port, correctly.
To avoid charging issues, use official chargers with the tablet.
Touchscreen Doesn’t Work
The front screen won't respond to touch commands
Unclean Touchscreen
Ensure that the touchscreen is clean from debris. Use a touchscreen cleaning cloth or microfiber cleaning cloth to clean off any debris that may have gotten on the Venue 8.
Bad Touch Digitizer
